Camera has been busy with does. Not sure if the bucks are laying low before the rut or not stepping in front of the camera. Hoping to try an evening sit tonight. Wind will be wrong so I’ll be back glassing- Sask hunter

Slower than I expected tonight. 5 does and one small buck. Plan to try again Tuesday as it supposed to be high of about 35. Then I’ll hit it hard for the last five days of October- Sask hunter

Out for a scout then an evening hunt. Put some miles in the boots checking out old spots. They did some brushing last winter so the landscape has changed a bit. Pretty dry so hard to tell what’s going on. Soon we will have snow and crusing bucks and I can get a much better idea. Found a spot...- Sask hunter

Quest for a Sask moose
Updates for the last few days. Day 2 a cow only. Today it poured rain and was windy starting about a hour before hunting time. Did see a small bull quickly but wasn’t quite quick enough to get a shot off. Dad’s going home tomorrow after the morning hunt so we will see if we can pull a buzzer...- Sask hunter

Shortly after the picture he wasn’t coming good for that exact reason and no one would climb up front. So I chained his back legs to the hitch and gave it. Just had to get it out a bit to where I could get the trailer- Sask hunter
