If it does, there should be a unsubscribe. If you still receive something, let me know and I will bring it up, but I doubt you will receive other emails.
Just heard back from WELC. I asked them if they could set up a dedicated contribution page, specific to this Crazy Mountains Public Access lawsuit.
Here is the link for the Crazy Mountains legal fund page.
I still have some research to finish on this case, if you want to contribute specifically...
I actually set up the legal defense page for Rob on my site before, it wasn't go fund me.
WELC is getting the information to me on their contribution page, with the specific number assigned for this case, they are a 501C3. I will post as soon as I get it.
Thank you
Groups sue Forest Service over access issues in Crazy Mountains
French did a good write up, including links to some of the previous articles with some backstory.
Mac White is not one of the Crazy Mountains landowners involved in the actions in our case. That is a separate situation that might have a good outcome.

Yesterday, I had to leave for the Skyline Banquet in Butte (stocked up on smoked kielbasa while there), didn't take my laptop with me, so I had to wait until I got back today to post this.
Montana Wildlife Federation submitted their public comment, which came up at the FOIA Reading Room.
I went to the EQC meeting involving this subject earlier, that had been requested by John Brenden, Chuck Rein's brother-in-law. Rein was also there and made a public comment.
Terry Anderson, from PERC, was there on video conference. He stated, concerning the Crazy Mountains, that he counted 13...
In 1948, the DOJ for the Forest Service, filed a case against Van Cleve, adding Sweet Grass County, for blocking public access with a locked gate and signs, founded on 1 Railroad grant, that stated road public access, for 3N 12E Section 3. It was "enough" to base a case on, to get an injuction...
I was asked to please post this here. It is a Screenshot of just one of the many Railroad Grant Deeds with an easement in the public for roads and trails that I have spent hours researching, including roads leading into the Forest Service.
This one is for T4N R10E Sections 15 and 23, sold to...
You might want to stop digging your hole deeper. Recently MSA told me they received a return of their contribution. I asked why, they didn't know, they asked me if I knew why, I didn't. So after this post, I called to verify if it was a contribution to them or a return, how much had they...
Rob, I see that you edited your statement of me, my "continual undermining" of your collaboration, replacing it with "Let's try to make this work". And while composing this rebuttal, you have deleted your second post to me, "By the way, I hope you will respect the fact that the ideas presented...
You're welcome.
Even though I knew what was going to happen, what was set up to happen, and the jist of the trail relocation proposal, based on the 15 years of documents, I had to have a large, strong scotch ale after that meeting and the hops still did not help me to sleep that night, I was so...
Just got back from some Crazy Mountain research in Sweet Grass Co. and that stockgrower working group PCEC meeting that was set up for the landowner, Ned Zimmerman, to present their proposal for the FS Trail #267 relocation off of private land to FS public land. There were about 25 of us there...
There is an unperfected historical easement, roughly over 100 years, well before this landowner bought their land in the 1950s. An easement can be perfected by sale, giving an easement, or by a judge's decision, based on documentation.
I just finished 3 days of reading through hundreds of Forest Service public documents I got in December, that primarily involved the Porcupine Lowline Trail System, part of what is being proposed at this meeting on the 31st.
The documents included trail maintenance records and such, but also...
It doesn't matter if it is current or older use, we need documents for all use, multiple use, through time. Historic use is just as important.
One of the documents made me smile. Kerry White, of CBU, had contacted the head of one of the motorcycle groups before end of year, for accomplishments...
Thank you. This will help the public record and may end up being necessary legally.
I was reading through hundreds of a new FOIA, each time I come across the public's statements about trails and use, like the one guy that drew a Mountain Goat tag, or the elk hunters that were looking for public...
