    Been foggy every morning for at least a week. Jump shot this lone goose from a Montana spring creek yesterday morning. And shot this one in the fog last week while chasing roosters and a flock flew over low in the fog.

    Another reason I like athletic labs. I pulled feathers on my second shot of a double, hun disappeared over the hill with the covey. Pup was on the bird and came back with cripple about 200 yards over the hill.

    I like labs built like pointers, deep chest, can hunt several days in a row no problem. My routine is to hunt pup 2 days in a row, then hunt the 8-year old 1 day, then pup 2 days in a row.
