    HTer Fitness Goals '24 Edition

Goals this year are mostly to maintain. 1. Maintain the consistency with the workouts. 2. Keep working on mobility to maintain joint function and keep the aches and pains at bay. 3. I switched last year from primarily cardio workouts to primarily strength training and it has made a remarkable...

    Saskatchewan Upland Hunting

Populations are nowhere near what we have in the lower 48. It’s harsh country for upland birds.

    Saskatchewan Upland Hunting

Yes. They have nowhere near the upland opportunities that you can find in the states, and the bag limits are extremely unfriendly for nonresident hunters. It’s nothing like the waterfowl hunting you always hear about. I mean, we send them sharptails to reintroduce if that tells you anything.

How to decimate a mule deer herd: A case study in Wyoming

WTF are you talking about? No one has said any of the things you apparently joined up to rant about.

How to decimate a mule deer herd: A case study in Wyoming

This particular method is strictly to remove everything and start with a clean slate in which to seed “desirable” grasses. I personally would categorize crested as mediocre for cattle, and bad for mule deer. Cattle won’t graze it either once it heads out. They seek out the natives, which puts...

How to decimate a mule deer herd: A case study in Wyoming

I agree with this 100%. A major reason for this is the dramatic increase in nonnative invasive plants, especially grasses, that have essentially resulted in monotypic stands of invasive grass across the west. Kentucky bluegrass, smooth brome, crested wheatgrass, cheatgrass and Japanese...

    Matt Rinella is categorically confused

Just got home from taking my bow for a walk, and see all you boys busy arguing like old ladies over influencers? They don’t make men like they used to. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s a gorgeous night so I’m heading back out to call coyotes. You boys have fun.

    New to coyote hunting

I think most states have a state auction, and then there’s Fur Harvesters, but these are geared towards commercial buyers so they’re usually sold in lots I believe rather than individual hides. If you just want one or a couple, check Etsy. They have some right now.

    New to coyote hunting

There’s a giant backlog of unsold pelts at the auction house held over from the previous few years. Plus Russians are typically big buyers, but they’re a little preoccupied… But, it’s a good time to learn to put them up, if that’s what you want to do, because you won’t be out anything if you...

    Importing antlers to MT

When you say you contacted the state usda, I’m not sure if you mean you contacted the state, or USDA. Those are two separate things. USDA APHIS would be the correct contact for importation questions. The paperwork required might depend on the declared purpose of the antlers. Apologies if this is...

    Plate ‘em up

Adaptation of a regular recipe. I had huns to use, and regular pasta. Not a fan of the whole wheat stuff. https://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/267768/chicken-spinach-skillet-pasta-with-lemon-parmesan/
