Importing antlers to MT

Hi,

I'm looking at sending a set of red stag antlers to a knife maker in MT.

Just wanted to see if anyone has imported them before and if so what if any permits or paperwork are required?

I contacted the state usda but never got a response, which is helpful.

When you say you contacted the state usda, I’m not sure if you mean you contacted the state, or USDA. Those are two separate things. USDA APHIS would be the correct contact for importation questions. The paperwork required might depend on the declared purpose of the antlers. Apologies if this is where you already looked.
