Hey just wanted to give a shout out to Camp USA's customer service.
I bought a set of their three section trekking poles 4-5 years ago and absolutely loved them. I was going on backpack and horse back hunting in Colorado when I purchased them. They were light and sturdy and were able to be easily broken down to fit in my saddlebags and backpack. I also used them a lot at home when mushrooming and getting in shape for the fall hunts by hiking the local ski hills.
I recently noticed (while mushrooming) that the plastic tubing that protects the internal shock cord had a break in it and contacted them by phone. Talked to real live person and was instructed to send a picture of the damage. Very helpful customer service rep!
Sent the warranty form and got a quick response that they were sending me a brand new set of a newer version for free.
Just got them today free of charge , including shipping!
Their rep was great and it was a really great getting prompt responses from a real person (based in Colorado).
If you are in the market for poles I would highly recommend them!!!!
I believe it is important to recognize superior product, companies and customer support.
