Has anybody here hunted upland in Saskatchewan, specifically southern Saskatchewan? It looks good (habitat) but I don’t know how good the access is.

Is the opportunity missing because there is no access or because there are only limited birds? I should mention, I won’t pay trespass fees…it’s just a personal thing.Yes. They have nowhere near the upland opportunities that you can find in the states, and the bag limits are extremely unfriendly for nonresident hunters. It’s nothing like the waterfowl hunting you always hear about.
I mean, we send them sharptails to reintroduce if that tells you anything.
I’ll go to Mt for upland any day over Canada.Populations are nowhere near what we have in the lower 48. It’s harsh country for upland birds.
I’d go to ND. The grass is always greener I guessI’ll go to Mt for upland any day over Canada.
Can get a bag limit of grouse and pheasants accidentally running them over most days
Not the East side…Dead Sea over hereI’d go to ND. The grass is always greener I guess
