This is true on a windy day too. Lots of movement and noise and you have a lot better chance of sneaking up on something. -

I've never seen deer stay inside because it was raining. I would have to say that I would expect movement to actually pick up during the rain. As said they might wait out a torrential downpour but they don't mind getting wet for sure. -

Need some HuntTalk wisdom on 5th Wheels
Just got done with our first real trip with the new trailer. Pulled it to our place in Colorado and back. Averaged 7.6 mpg for the trip, that's a little worse than I had been getting with the old trailer (I think the average on it was 8.1) but I was pulling into a slight north wind going up...- npaden

Idaho has a pretty hefty 5.8% income tax rate but has fairly low property tax rates and sales tax is not as high as several states. If you aren't going to be having much taxable income in retirement the higher income tax rate might not be so bad and is offset by the lower property tax and sales...- npaden

A couple local banks do something like this. One does a somewhat canned pheasant hunt with the guides running dogs and then an awesome lunch afterwards. Generally it is going to be active screen time that drains a device, not just the GPS running. If you are constantly looking at the screen and it is lit up in full sun then that is going to drain the device much quicker than if you are checking it every 30 minutes or an hour or something like...- npaden

For sure this is going on. For sure there are some big companies doing a lot for conservation that aren't on the list. So if you pay the dues to 2% for conservation, that counts as spending money on conservation? I'm sure for some of these companies the dues wouldn't be a blip on the radar...- npaden
