Went out with CabinFever a few evenings ago and found this guy. Not the biggest bear in the woods (or my taxidermist's shop for that matter), but I'll take it for my first bear. Thanks to Cabin for all the help.

Thanks guys. Luckily no visitors Lawnboy. However, the sage and rose bushes did a pretty good number on my legs.

I was seriously questioning his apparel as well, thought he was asking for trouble, especially after the bushwhacking we did to get to the lookout spot. I was pretty parranoid about ticks and snakes. Although I knew his legs were getting ripped up he didn't complain a bit, even when I asked him about it. I think I whined more wearing pants.

Fact is Dunc made a great shot under pressure and packed that bear out of that hole like a steed. I feel fortunate to have been along for that adventure.

I didn't have time to complain about the shrubbery with all my whining about how fat I got this winter while running daddy daycare.

Oh trust me Kansas. I would have had it on if it hadn't been 80 degrees. However, I did find it hiding in the bottom of the pack when we started loading the bear up, which may explain our success.
