This was before your time Southern Elk, about 20 years ago, when this d-bag flew helicopters around Paradise valley.

He had a come to Jesus moment, and I haven't heard anything about him since.

No, he ran out with a calf puller over his shoulder, but pulled it by hand. I think what everyone was saying was so unrealistic is that the calf got up and ran off in a sprint as soon as it hit the ground. It was obviously not a newborn calf.
That's interesting. Glad it didn't come to fruition. I don't doubt that a lot of wealthy people have helicopters. Just never seen ranchers around here using them the way Costner was.
Transplants require special treatment. In fact I think they talk about that in the show.

Never had to use a login.
Yeah, my comment was pretty much sarcastic(in case anyone else doesn't get it). Of the calves I've seen pulled, none ran off(if they lived). None were that clean. None of the cows got up and ran off(if it was in a field).
At least he used armpit gloves, not sure where he was hiding them.
Episode 2 is up~ http://www.paramountnetwork.com/shows/yellowstone
Ya, the "lets drive to the park and watch wolves kill elk" scene was as bad as it gets. Even transplants will know how poor it was.
Longmire-ish on steroids,with full turn to soap-opera............disappointing.
Surprised that a 5th generation bitterrooter would even waste his time watching this show?
Makes for better chest thumping, impresses the transplants.
Yep. The highlight of season 1 I'm sure.I gotta say the cattle tank "bath" seen was alright!
Yellowstone trailers do not interest me....but this weekend Denzel comes to town to Equalize the bad guys.
