I grew up near there. Can't stand the place, especially now. I remember when Reserve was fields, not Walmarts.

This year Pearl Jam and Pink are both coming to Missoula...i remember when Reserve street had no bridge...ended at the river.

I was slated to start school at UM in the fall of 1979. I passed. Kind of wish I hadn’t.

It’s easy to bitch about Montana, but I’ll take anywhere in its mountain West over 95% of what is left of the so-called United States. Missoula included.

A co-worker once picked up a gal hitch-hiking west on I-90 and told her he wasn't going to Missoula but turning south at Drummond. She asked how he knew she was headed to Missoula. "Hairy legs" was his reply!
