Yep the scenery adds to the hunt. Along with the group of cow elk running by my tent at 11:30 at night and the bulls bugling at 2am and the soggy hike in and out to get my camp. Couldn't think of a better trip in the mountains.

That's awesome. I had a trip in WY 2 years ago where I was hunting cow elk. I got in late that night and set up my tent and went to bed for an early morning rise. It was mid november and got surrounded by elk that night. I even had a couple bulls bugling - in mid November! Needless to say, I filled my tag the next morning when I found a herd of 18 on a hill only about a quarter mile from my tent.
