Wyoming Tag Split Process

How does Wyoming split a low level of tags between regular and special? For example let’s say NR get 5 tags. How many are regular and how many are special? Would any be random or would all go by preference point level?

I realize that, but do they round at all. if not, it’s straight forward. First tag regular preference, second regular preference or special preference, what about the third etc. how many total NR tags are needed to get a regular random or a special random?

I only ask because of how Utah prioritizes random and because of the weird rounding threshold NM uses. With that said this is how I envision it. 1-reg pref, 2-spec pref, 3-reg pref (or is this random), 4-spec pref, 5- reg random, 6-reg pref, 7-spec random, 8-reg pref, 9-spec pref, 10-reg pref/random?

Or does preference get priority until every 4th special or regular tag?

Your best bet is probably to look at previous draw odds and see how it breaks out for a license quota you're interested in.
