wyoming lions and bartering???

i have two questions. is there a season for mt. lions in wyoming or is year round? and second, has anyone ever bartered for a hunt?

Barter as in trade? I am sure it happens alot. But if you meen nagotiate (sp?) the price, I do not know.

There is a season on Mt. Lions, it starts in September and runs through March. However there are areas, Just like the elk and deer antelope, and such, and in each area there is a quota of lions that can be killed, and after that quota is filled then that area is closed to hunting for the rest of the season. As for bartering a hunt, yes there has been some of that done also.

Calif Coyote-I would suggest bartering in New Mexico. Unless ya know a specific person in Wyoming willing to do it. Not much in California I would want to barter for, but theres lots of outfitters out there that might. bcat
