very true but with preference points being used for type 4 and type 6 being random draw you can gain a little more insight as to whether you will draw or not.

I was gonna chime in that Tyler has some river bottom country. I don't know him personally but have met a couple of his guides over the years and they were friendly.

He's got a plains hunt in unit 125 that has leftover tags too.

My brother is coming back from overseas and I want to take him on an elk hunt. As a Montana resident, it looks it would be cheaper for us to hunt WY for cow elk. Is their a particular unit that someone can recommend for an OTC elk cow tag?

Also, is anyone aware of any ranches that charge a trespass fee that would be worth checking out?

Think we would be more then happy to just fill the freezer.

They were draw tags that were reduced price $303, with about a 20% chance of drawing for cow or calf elk.
