I could remember one trophy hunt on a Indian Res. in Arizona that I went on 60-70 years ago.. OR---hunting elk ( not a trophy ) in Arizona 60-70 years ago AND hunting Doves in Argentina, Lion in Africa, Ibex in Spain, Grizzly in Alaska, Red Stag in N.Z., Capercaillie in Sweden, Fox hunting via horse back, Turkey hunting in Old Mexico, Coues in Arizona ---etc. etc. etc. etc. etc,------plus bird hunting as often and as many species and places as possible--

Brent, I even hunted squirrels when I was a young lass (-;

Harvesting 1-2 below average animals per year for the rest of my life is a huge improvement over my current averages.
I would still pick my current situation vs. option 1. But hopefully 2020 sees a good improvement...

Some very unusual threads appear on this forum during stir crazy season in the US, glad I have plenty of hunting to keep me busy through every month of the year.
