Woodworking Hunt Talkers?

Mine is 3 flute and nowhere near that quality. I had a 4 flute but they were terribly uneven. It left a horrible finish. I'm working on converting an old optical torch table for the router. It's wicked smooth and 5'x5'.

I need to build a proper sled, mine works fine if I take the time to monkey with making sure everything is level on the front end. I have two heavy 1/4" aluminum Z-bars from the back of a highway sign that I use for the side rails, they work great but my sled needs an upgrade, if I do this more I'll build a bigger metal one.

I hate to throw away scraps of wood, but I make way too many of them. I had to purge a bit when I started working on cleaning out the garage. But I got a little bit of a pay off when I recently came up with an idea for a couple of hat hangers.

Out to the scarps I go, pick out a scrap of 1x12 pine and mark up some shapes to cut out and sand.

Using dowels and glue for connections and tung oil for finish, I had these on the wall the next day.

The hat on the right was my Father in Law's. We use it for when the kids make a snowman. The one on the left is my grass hat I wear when I am cutting the lawn.

One less scrap of wood on the shelf.

I figured the grass hat was for doobies.
