Wolves De-Listed, BigWhore was Wrong, Again.

This thread cracks me up.
You guys are hammering BHR for using words like “WOULD” and “COULD” but the article posted uses words like “it PLANS on removing gray wolves”, “the official delisting notice is EXPECTED to be published”.
Has it been done yet ? Is it official right now ?
Shoots-straight, do you really think a law suite needs merit to get an injunction and be considered ? Go look at the dockets of the circuit courts and the Supreme Court and ask your self how many of these suites have any merit ? All a law suite needs to advance is the right POLITICS.
Do any of you really believe this won’t get tied up in court ? That we will have a public wolf season this fall ?
I’m not talking about ranchers protecting their livestock or government predator control agents.
General public hunters being able to draw a tag and then actually, legally shoot a wolf for sport in Montana, Wyoming or Idaho in 2008.
Does anyone want to make that bet with me ?
I drink Fat Tire Ale, a micro brew, about $26 a case.

Ok, First off Big Horn Ram's getting hammered because he has always taken the stance that the wolves would never be, or at least for a long long time wouldn't be delisted. He's also used sentences stating that well not be hunting wolves for a very long time. I don't know where you've been but they indeed have been delisted and in less than 30 days the Notice will be law. All except Wyoming unless they approve their own wolf management plan in 18 days.
They may stay off the season this year,though it's a small chance, but we'll be hunting them by next for sure. I've already got a case coming from Big Horn, I don't need another for a while.... We'll talk when my case is gone..The lawsuit has been filed I believe, in Missoula when the delisting notice took place. I don't think the judge will take a terribly long time to decide Merritt. I'd rather be half full than empty! Time will tell.

I havn't followed Big Horns view on wolf hunts or this bet, but if we are talking about a public hunt like I discribe above, then he isn't wrong until the hunt acually take place right ?

Your right about one thing, you haven't been following BHR's post's. You don't know what your talking about. BHR's repeatedly stated that the wolf would never be taken off the endangered species list. That has happened. Hello is anybody in there! Therefore yes he is wrong. At least about that, in a short time will see if he was wrong about everything else, which it's looking stronger and stronger that he's going to be.

How's this for an OFFICIAL bet S.S.. Montana has a wolf hunt in 08 you win a case of whatever beer from me. Montana has a hunt in 09 it's a push. No hunt for Montana by the end of 2010 and I win a case of my choice from you. I'll even let you drink up to 6 of them........to cover the cost of beer inflation during the Obama Administration.
