I was watching the local news this morning and a story came on about some college students studying the local wild horses to see if they could be used to help prevent wildfires. They felt that wild horses could be planted in wilderness areas to eat fuels. I reacted with "they must be crazy, in this day and age, nobody would seriously consider putting an invasive species into wilderness areas for any reason." Or would they?
