Just got back from neighbors with 2 tins of food. One Turkey with all the extras and another with 3 types of pie.
Rio got hit hard from the turkey and is fast asleep. I ate a big plate and 2 types of pie, pecan and pumpkin pecan. I can hardly move.
We had 17 people over for turkey day and Gus used the chaos to his advantage.

The dust settled at 9:45pm and I look over and he’s laying on his side looking like an anaconda with a capybara in its gullet. Apparently Ms. Wllm and I both fed him dinner, + gave him some turkey and then practically everyone was giving him morsels.

Here's what was on the menu.
Pre- cooked turkey breast
Overcooked ham
Instant mashed potatoes with 2 cups of table salt
Packet brown gravy w/ extra salt
Canned corn
Cranberry with crushed pineapples and Splenda
Microwaved acorn squash (dry no fixin's)

I didn't bring enough beer
I stand corrected you were alone 🤣

Yikes. I might have faked an illness or an injury. A few stitches might have been more pleasant? 🫣🤣

In terms of gifts science has given us, Instant mashed potatoes rival vaccines.

I did have to google acorn squash and didn’t necessarily like what I saw.

Something about Montana natives and fresh produce...acorn squash is amazing with a touch of Maple syrup...yeah, I know, another foreign product.😄
