White Moose

I got a few pictures of these white moose emailed to me...supposedly from Eilson AFB. Anyone know the story about these? Thanks.

Hey, since I live on Eielson I'll check it out. I haven't heard about this as yet but its entirely possible.

This is info I got off of a chat room. I think they are locally known as the "White Moose of Foleyet / Ottawa".

What should be of interest to all is that I was able to confirm the photographer, date, and location of the pictures. The white cow and white (more like dalmatian) calf were photographed by Mr. Larry Gubbles, a Timmins resident, January 3, 2005 within 30 miles of Foleyet on the side of the highway.

Those are so cool looking. I saw a picture of a white moose in some part of Canada when I went to the Sportsmen show with my family. I think they are common up north, sort of. Cool pics.
