What's your favorite duck?

Utah guy? 😁
Nope, just really like hunting them. You really don't have to do anything. They just swim right into your spread. You blast em and leave em. Couple minutes later another one swims right into your spread to see what the dead one is doing...hour or so later you got your limit.

Love them all but nothing beats a canvasback for me , mallards
and wood ducks are a close 2nd .

I used to work at Bowdoin NWR in north Central Montana. There was a couple coming out from the hunt and I met them at the boat launch. I congratulated them on the tundra swan they got, but was at a loss for words when I saw the 6 coots also in the canoe. Watched them load up in their UT vehicle and thought to myself, "now I get it". 😁

Awesome mount! The shovelor on a small pot hole Prarie pond in the spring on the highline is a tough sight to beat.

Here's my trophy duck from 2015, be neat to shoot a few more of these. I guess of all the ducks I've shot this is my favorite one. Shared photos of this duck before but some of you might not have seen it.P1010737.JPG

If I could shoot a bunch of teal every time I go out, I'd be a happy man. Great on the table, a couple birds per person, so you don't fill up the freezer, certainly sporty to shoot, and nice to see in hand. What's not to like?
