1 pointer.... I take my kids hunting because if I waited to being able to afford them hunt the places we would like to, none of us would be hunting here.
Ten Bears you are right about the children being the real hunters. Why I love hunting with my boys.
FWIW, no I don't have kids though I could both physically
and financially be able to support them. However it is MY decision to not have them now for a variety of reasons.
1. I'm not completely done with my education and haven't started my professional career yet.
2. There are things that I want to do before I have kids
3. It's a choice not an obligation.
4. My life is too hectic and unsettled for me to be able to do the things I would WANT to do for my children.
I do not hold it against anyone for having any number of kids that they want, as of now that is still your right. However, I strongly oppose the government giving money to those with kids just because. Just remember that it only takes 2.2 offspring (approximately) to maintain a stable population.
I promise that once I have kids I will donate any 'prefunds' to a hunting organization. That you can save and remind me of later.
Ten Bears- No, I have not raised any kids (by choice), but I started one of my best friends who's four years younger than me on the path of hunting. He has stated to me more than once that he can't wait until he's killed more deer than me. I gotta keep busy to keep him working!
