What you all cookin for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

It’s my son’s house, so trying not to let my OCD get the best of me. But if I do, this is the first thing getting fixed… 🤦‍♂️

Yeah. That would bug me. There's a weight underneath the sink base on the supply that is adjustable. Should be an easy fix. mtmuley
I agree with muley. There’s a weight and a stopper that probably need adjusted. Or if there’s a ton of shit under there like my sink it might just be hung up on something.

Son-in-Law opened his presents this morning, which included Hi-Country jerky, from Lincoln. He explained to his daughter that the first time we sent that was 2001, when he was in Iraq, for him and his platoon.

So, for him, jerky is the best Christmas food.

Out this coming Monday, after 24 years, with a great job in Manhattan KS, so no moves. Very grateful.

May the New Year bring us Peace.

Did a 7 bone prime rib, it was fire! But after I took all the in between rib meat along with a bunch of the browned seasoned outer layers, chopped it up and mixed it together. Hawaiian roll with some cut horseradish and some of that mixture is amazing. Gonna be snacking on that in the blind tomorrow.

Elk backstrap with chimichurri, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, wife’s sourdough, and some red wine. Great meal with the in-laws from Boston. Always fun highlighting game meat with them.

Still need to make some posole, pinto beans and red chile to really help it feel like Christmastime.

Ham mashed potatoes and recipe called thanksgiving peas (bacon peas and pear) last nigh. Brunch (egg lasagna ham cheese and corn flake topping) Pillsbury cinnamon rolls (every year since 2) and grapefruit. Made herb crusted prime rib fennel risotto, Waldorf salad and a regular salad with wine from the finger lakes with a bass on bottle. My wife always likes a nice bass. I am interested in feast of 7 fishes. Just learned about it. 2 years look to make seafood salad among other things.

Smoked prime rib, mashed potatoes, rolls, and roasted Brussels sprouts Pumpkin pie for dessert. Normally do ham but changing it up this year.

Just my wife and I last night so we did sliced meat and cheese with veggies

No pic's, big family having great times! Smoked brisket with just salt & pepper. Smoked ham, cloves + pineapple. Salted twice baked potatoes, home grown bacon bits. So much more.
Merry Christmas and have your best new year! Blessings to all.
