What “Stay at Home”.....(Safe) Cocktail are you drinking?

I've become a fan of the Manhattan. WITH Antica Carpano Vermouth. I've had some really bad Manhattans without this name brand.

Ingredients
  • 2 ounces bourbon or rye
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • Garnish: brandied cherry

Steps
  1. Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, and stir until well-chilled.

  2. Strain into a chilled coupe. ( like mine over Ice)

  3. Garnish with a brandied cherry.

Auchentoshan, stranahans, truly, jack and diet coke

that's a list btw, not a mash of things to put in a cup

that's about all i drink right there, the brand of scotch is often rotating

1 gallon apple juice
1 gallon apple cider
3/4 cup of brown sugar
9 cinnamon sticks
Boil for 25 minutes in a pot
Let cool to room temp
Add
1 liter Ever Clear
1 pint of Fireball

excellent on the rocks while sitting on the porch. Enjoy!
Even better with some home made everclear. 😉

Got a bottle of Michter's and a keg of Dale's Pale Ale. Home brew on the way but it didn't come out how I would have liked it.

no way on this one. Cloyingly sweet and unrecognizable base liquor flavor is not my thing. 🤪
To me would be as accurate to say you do not like taste of liquor as to drink this concoction. But don’t get me wrong, if you enjoy it more power to you. But if you cannot taste the base liquor it is not a cocktail (to me).
