what rings/bases/mounts for Sako 85

I have a Sako 85 Finnlight and am trying to decide what bases/rings to use to mount a 1" scope....any suggestions?

You don't need bases with a sako rifle. It comes with built in dovetail mounts. You buy Sako rings that mount directly to the rifle. I believe that Millet makes Sako style rings also.

The millets and lupes have fewer connections, lighter, and are about half the price...

I put Talleys on my Tikka T-3 Lite .300 Win Mag - the factory ones kept shooting loose. No problems since putting the Talleys on.

For what it's worth.... I work for both Sako and Leupold as a rep. I just set up an 85 Finlight myself. The Sako Opti-Lok rings to require a base, the Leupold set up is a true "ringmount". Both work well.

I ended up using the Opti-Lok on this gun, but I have a set of the Leupold ringmounts that I am not using. PM me if you are interested.
