For most of my adult life I have worked in a job to where I could not anticipate taking any vacation during the spring due to planting season. I could turkey hunt on days when we were not busy, but those were unpredictable when they would be and how much time I would actually get.

I now have a job where I can take PTO at any time during the year, and it occurred to me that spring bear season is upon us. I don't know if I am going to regret prioritizing bear over turkey, but how terrible could spending time in the mountains actually be? Anyways, it appears a trip to Wyoming is in order for me 🍺

Just out of curiosity, when are you thinking of bear hunting?
Spring in Texas is different time of year than spring in Wyoming. Maybe you could do both???
Win win.
