By the sound of it, you can take anything in N. America with a .223 or if you really want to step it up, a .22-250.It won't make animals any deader than other cartridges.
Probably the most frustrating part of the whole deala major ammo manufacturer is saying that any person can/should hunt elk at 1000 yards. That is over 1/2 a mile. I have no words.
