That was my thinking.I would assume he has some kind of testicular damage. From what I understand that can commonly cause antler abnormalities as in the photo. Might have some wild growth and stay in velvet.
Its my first choice are for the draw this year, muzzle loader, so in theory I could have a good shot at him, if I draw the tag. And he's in a bit of an off the wall place, so not much pressure there.Shame you’ll never know how good his genetics might have been. If it’s an area w/ otc tags, I’d probably try to target him specifically since he’s not doing the herd health any favors.
