PEAX Equipment

What is this?

I would assume he has some kind of testicular damage. From what I understand that can commonly cause antler abnormalities as in the photo. Might have some wild growth and stay in velvet.

That was my thinking.

Wondering how that happens so young. Not much for fences in that country.

Not sure what else would cause it?

Could a fawn be born with no testosterone?

Shame you’ll never know how good his genetics might have been. If it’s an area w/ otc tags, I’d probably try to target him specifically since he’s not doing the herd health any favors.

Its my first choice are for the draw this year, muzzle loader, so in theory I could have a good shot at him, if I draw the tag. And he's in a bit of an off the wall place, so not much pressure there.

Interested to see how the others in that group turn out as well, as I think there are about 6 to 8 bucks in the group after I went though my photo dump.

Plus there's a couple groups of does and last years fawns. So it could be a fun September if I draw.
