Caribou Gear Tarp

What Cartridges Have You Killed Big Game With This Season?

30.06 moose x 2 220 corelokt, white tail buck, hopefully will griz to the list this year
22-250 caribou, crane, swan, fox
.22 caribou, ptarmigan, fox

Turkey- 12 ga 3" #5 shot (25yds)
Grouse- Arrow (15 yds)
WT Doe- Arrow (32 yds)
WT Doe- .50 cal inline w/45 cal pistol bullet/sabot (75 yds)
WT Buck- Arrow (30 yds)
WT Doe- 35 Remington 200 gr Hornady Leverevolution (5 yds)
WT Doe- 7mm Rem Mag 160 gr Nos. Partition (215 yds)
Coyote- 30-06 165 gr Nos. Partiton (325 yds)

Few things I'm changing for this year is ditching the Sevr broadheads, trying to find a bullet/powder combo for my 7RM that doesn't destroy meat, and getting my 223 or 22-250 dialed in so I can stop shooting coyotes with big game caliber rifles.

Bull elk - 7 mag 168 Berger VLD hunter
Muley buck - same combo.

Both of them were under 100 yard shots this year and part of me wishes I'd have taken my .30-30 Marlin with open sights. But if I'd have done that they'd have been 400 yard shots

Pronghorn @ 294yrds 6mm Remington, Swift 100gr scirocco ll loaded by Hendershot (Extreme Custom Ammunition) If your having a hard time finding good ammunition I highly suggest you check them out very very good quality cartridges at a pretty reasonable cost considering current ammunition prices.
