I casually mentioned to my smarter half that I'm going to start hunting a little harder instead of sitting in the living room waiting for something to walk by. She agreed!! We ground up about 60# of wild hog sausage in 6 different flavors today. We have another 1/2 to go. Yep the household budget is feeling the pinch.

3/4 tank cost $55 at Big Sky Rez. yesterday. A deal.
Cost me $85 to get same 3/4 tank in Quemado in the afternoon.

My fuel supplier sends a newsletter with the monthly billing. On the bottom of the page is a highlighted ad that they are buying overhead fuel tanks. I have a spare 550gal so gave them a call. I asked them why they are buying old tanks? The first answer was they are still legal in many areas. The second answer is that small farmers and ranchers are buying them because fuel prices were going to skyrocket. Red diesel was nearly $6.00 at the time.
