Western South Dakota (and nearby) Residents

How is the snow pack in the Black Hills and areas thereabouts? My family and I are about to head that direction on family vacation in about 5-6 weeks, but want to make sure that we can get around on Custer, Spearfish, Needles and Great 8s highways, Devils Tower, The Badlands, etc. I’d love to see the spring green up in Spearfish if possible, but I really don’t know how that times out… I’ve already had to mow my grass in my area of the world.

Any thoughts and feedback would be appreciated

In 5 or 6 weeks I don't imagine you'll have any trouble as far as snowfall goes around the area.There's been quite a bit of snow this year but the forecast looks pretty promising and you should be good to go.
