Does Montana have a salmon run? Those look like salmon disguised like trout. We've been having some cold weather here lately, but fishing in it sure looks better than working outside in it! Your son seems to carry that artistic talent into photography as well, great photos.
I ALWAYS love to see your fishing pics, Beautifully colored fish!! We braved the elements this past weekend as well but on the MO river in SD. 21-26 degrees in the AM up to 38 in PM. Winds of 25-35 mph for 3 solid days and sideways snow most of Saturday. The bite was tough but still managed 30 walleyes for the trip. Not nearly as pretty as the trout but better eating to me anyway
Muskees, NICE! I agree I can't gag trout down so they all go back in the water, but walleye almost never get a free pass. Those things taste about as good as a fresh water fish can taste. Those are some seriously chunky fish!
