I’m no connoisseur, but always liked it over Maker’s. Seems smoother to me. Used to be my favorite, fair priced bourbon.Never have sampled. What does it compare to?
Grew up in NU and worked in the bottle house during summers and some during college. Good stuff. Thanks to my brother when he visited. He brought me a few cases of my favorite beer from home. I bet I’m the only one in WY drinking this today.
Grew up east of Hutchinson. Made it down to the brewery a bit. Always liked their tour-end tasting room.Grew up in NU and worked in the bottle house during summers and some during college. Good stuff.
Yeah, the Tap Room is even better after a 12 hour summer day and no one to supervise!Grew up east of Hutchinson. Made it down to the brewery a bit. Always liked their tour-end tasting room.
I was at the liquor store in Evanston, WY today and the lady said they got 6 bottles in July and it never made it to the shelf. She said that’s all they’ve received this entire year.I haven’t seen this in a shelf in a couple years!
I’d compare it to Makers. My son really likes it. He went to CU, so he likes the Buffalo thing.Never have sampled. What does it compare to?
I have yet to find something I like better than JD. The first glass is the best. All downhill after that.I’d compare it to Makers. My son really likes it. He went to CU, so he likes the Buffalo thing.

Had a bad experience with JD many, many moons ago. Can’t stand the smell of it, never even had a sip since.I have yet to find something I like better than JD. The first glass is the best. All downhill after that.

I can remember it vividly. I ate a seafood sub from subway prior. Still can’t stand the sight of those either. I was 17 or 18.I’m feeling this comment! Imagine this- 16 yrs old and a bottle of blackberry brandy. Never again!
Oh no!! I’m pretty sure the fake crabmeat and Mayo went beautifully with the heavy drinking…I can remember it vividly. I ate a seafood sub from subway prior. Still can’t stand the sight of those either. I was 17 or 18.
