Weekend Libations

I couldn’t find a 6er of Oktoberfest so I settled for a 12. Poor my luck!
I can’t find it out here anywhere. Only the Shandys are able to be located but I convinced my family to bring me some Schell’s Oktoberfest fest from MN a few weeks ago, so I’m good and stocked up for awhile.

Leinenkugels has an endless supply of shandies. It seems there is one for every kind of fruit that grows on a bush or tree. My go to Leinie’s are original, canoe paddler, Oktoberfest, north woods lager, honeyweis.

Not a big fan of the shandies either. Solid Leine’s list in the rest of them!

Did some vacationing on the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico last week and got to experience a “new to me” dessert drink they call “Mayan coffee”. Quite the show when they make it at your table.

Decided to buy some of the Xtabentum liqueur and make it myself (with a bit less pyro theatrics!). Turned out pretty good. Something to impress the ladies with 😂.

The Xtabentum is an interesting liqueur. It’s made from honey and anise - tastes a bit like ouzo but better.

Next time I will make a delivery on my way through 😉
