Temps in Denver are supposed to drop from highs of 95 to 79 on Thursday, what will that do, if anything, to walleye patterns?

I know nothing about the lakes that you fish so my opinion isn’t anything more than rambling. On the systems that I fish I would not anticipate much of a change with the weather that you described. It’s still going to be dang near 80 degrees where you are at.

In my neck of the woods the weather is going to go from several nice days to 60 degrees, rainy, and windy for a few days. This will probably be the end of my shallow walleye bite. Most of them will slide deeper during the cold front and probably stay deep. The weather change should turn the pike on though. I love trolling musky baits for big toothy critters. Yesterday I caught this 27.5”. Most likely the last big walleye I catch in under 20’ of water this year.
