@Big Fin . This was posted on the RMEF you tube and it is wrong. The land is NOT open to the public. I had a lengthy conversation with our local CAFD warden that covers this area.
Curious what else you know about why it's not open to the public vs what RMEF says in the video. Still great it was conserved for the Tule Elk but hunting access was probably a huge part of the goal in conserving the land.
I don't feel comfortable saying what I know about the property and it's background. What I do know and can share is it's NOT open to the public. That is verified by a F&G warden that I have known for many years.
