Me and my boy are planning to hunt for doe pronghorn in unit 62 north of Rawlins this weekend. We are expecting to get rain/snow, would bringing a utv be recommended or would a 4WD truck be sufficient? It appears to be very checkboarded except for the northern area east of the Divide, and we will be staying on the roads and walking in if/when we see pronghorns. Thanks for the help.

Just got back from hunting Unit 108 S of Rawlins and we were able to go everywhere with a 4WD. We had dry conditions though, might be a different story with muddy roads.

Mostly stayed on the main paved road and completed two successful stalks north of dugaway. Backroads will be slippery this week for those hunting this area. Seen bull elk, tons of pronghorn, and a few muleys.

Thanks guys, it was one of my best times afield. I work in WY a lot and seems like a second home to my family.
