Hey guys, I emailed everyone of the UT RAC mambers and board members to tell them i think this is a very poor plan and discrimination against nonres and average income hunters both res and nonres . I got 2 relpies back and one guy thinks like most of us do, and said this plan was forced to vote without knowing the details. He said he will do everything to kill it in the next vote because it will get another vote. You all need to do the same thing and get on the link that was provided in an earlier post on this topic. I got another response from another RAC or Board memeber spouting quotes from Don Peay about numbers Blah blah Blah.... so we need to let these guys know that we are seeing through the bullshLt here and do not like it. We can kill this!!!! go to the UT F&G website and look up this http://www.wildlife.utah.gov/public_meetings/ then click on both the RAC mambers link and the Board memebers link and email the guys. You can copy and paste a message to make thing easy. DO IT OR LOSE IT!!
A lottery selling 10% of all LE tags at an in person to win function is just too much. Nonres to give 25% of the total nonres LE tags to a local UT function is insane. they guys were snowballed by SFW and it was a close vote according to this guy. If we let them know we are sick of seeing the rich buy thier way into the front of the line this can be stopped.
Hey AZ boys, we supported you when USO hit, now return the favor. This is not just a nonres thing, the majority of the residents do not like it as well.
Write one email and copy and paste to all of them to amke it easy.
Thanks.

schmalts, I did the first time you posted it, but not to the same audience you gave links to.

I'll get off my duff and get some more sent off...thanks for the update.

Here is the email i got back from one RAC member.

Mr. Schmitt: As a member of the Southern RAC I also had reservations
about the
SFW give away. The professional staff of the Southern Dist. had not
seen the proposal
before it was presented to the RAC last month. There many questions
that were put
to the presentor that he could not answer.

Lacking adequate information I made a motion to table the proposal
until more information
was available. That motion was defeated and the proposal passed. It
should have been
defeated but the chairman got the council members confused and it
passed by a couple of
votes. I have been told that the proposal would come back to the RACs
for action again.
I will lobby hard to get the thing defeated.
