I think you came up with a pretty damn good idea using the van.

Really not much different than what we use quite a bit...a cargo trailer modified with fold out sleeping beds, cabinets, stove and heater. Holds two 4-wheelers. Very comfortable base camp to come back to every night. Pretty much a poor mans toy hauler.

Tip again for fly and hunt... check out renting one of these instead of an suv. I reserved a ten footer but they werre out so I got this thing. Much cheaper than a rental suv and you can camp in. It as you can.

Now THATS what you call a toy hauler! All it needs is a stripper pole and Moosie along for the entertainment....and a barf bag
