USDA says:BEND OVER PLEASE

Oh, and I forgot to add, "While listening to Rush Limbaugh on his am radio, and believing every word."

I've never complained about how much I make. I have a '85 S10 and a '98 F150.

quote:
Hell if your going to school your going to get back more than you pay in by a long shot!!!!!!!

Are you talking about taxes??? If so, I believe you wrong. My generation is going to be support our parents generation. We'll never see social security, which is fine. I don't plan on relying on the gov. for my retirement.

Me either. I am doing fine for myself and my retirement accounts are verried and if I do get any social security it will be nice.

As to taxes, I fall into the group that pays out the ass, and gets very little back.

Like I said in another post, I don't mind people who are in need getting back what they paid in.
It's people like my sister who is single with kids that will get back 3 or 4 times what she paid in. that pisses me off!!!

I wouldn't bitch if farmers and ranchers lost their "walefare" if it weren't for all the other bullshit like nafta, and all the other hoops they have to jump through.
take cattle, Quit importing shitloads of beef from canada and lets eat the ones raised here.

Pointer,
how you going to make out on your tax return this year?
I will bet you get back a shitload more than I do, And I will also bet I pay a shitload more.
we better drop this topic, I think everybody already knows our tax system is a JOKE...

Shiney new tractor.... it's a business you have to have good equipment that will run the entire season (hopefully) without stopping every three hours to fix it.

New one ton diesel? Does pulling a big assed stock trailer count as work? Or dragging a 600 bushel wagon down the road? Sure, every farmer could do their daily work from a POS S-10 but you'd still need a dependable, strong work vehicle probably an even more expensive semi would be the ticket, still it can't be a junker, downtime next to the road costs money, especially with a pot full of hogs loaded up.

The big new boat?? Well sometimes the fields are wet....

HAHAHAHA!!!Buzz, your bringing tears to my eyes..LMAO!!!!

quote:
One big difference would be that the yuppie student SUV driver doesnt get a tax break for his vehicle, but you can bet your ass the rancher writes his off as a "business" expense. And if its your typical rancher, he probably whistles down the highway with his diesel (running dyed diesel and screwing the state/feds out of the fuel tax that everyone else has to pay), bitching the whole time about high taxes. Hmmmmmm??????

Your so blatently jelouse that you can't hardly stand yourself, your dislike and hate exude from every post like a festering sore..

quote:
Oh, and I forgot to add, "While listening to Rush Limbaugh on his am radio, and believing every word."

If your going to lie, make it about some thing that is kind of believable...HAHAHAHA!!!

Whats unbeliebable about that story Elkchsr?

You dont believe that ranchers weasel their way out of taxes and write off everything possible? Or that they listen to and believe that stammering bafoon Rush?

Talk about a simpleton, you have to be the most nieve simple minded individual I've ever come in contact with...

Why I bet you must have a degree from the "school of advanced studies in conservative thinking". Is your talent on loan from God too? Christ, you sound like a retarded version of the Rush Limbaugh show.

*tapping fingers and scratching my head* Do I step in and do my job? The exchange has been made....... these two rarely go very far....clearly beyond bounds......awww shit, let it stand, it's not the usual participants....

Carry on Men!

Oh, heck I like Elkchsr, but I just cant pass up an opportunity to give him a bad time about his hero. All in good fun.

bullshit, your an asshole all the time!!!

feel free to delete this mars.
I just call em as I see em.

That's always your excuse, mike. Buzz is out there working and observing the same things Elkchser is, but they sure see things differently. I like hearing from both of them---gives me an idea of the broad spectrum we're dealing with on these issues.

quote:
You dont believe that ranchers weasel their way out of taxes and write off everything possible? Or that they listen to and believe that stammering bafoon Rush?

You show me a business that doesn't, and I will show you an ignorant fool, the system has been set up to do this… Besides, as I stated last year, if you think he is such a stammering buffoon, how is it he has millions of people that listen to him every day, and you only have maybe at most a few dozen!!!
He has stated some thing that is so very true, when libs and democrats start to lose, they change the subject and start calling names and ranting...You are the perfect example of his findings, you fit the mold oh so perfect, thanks for being such a good example!!!

I see some of the things I have been saying up above and on my other posts must be hitting pretty close to home. I haven't seen any of my posts attacking you in this mannor, only stating what I know to be fact, and showing every one the misrepresentations of yours!!!

These type of comments show a great amount of ignorance, they show no thought and any one from grade school up, can carry on like this about things they know little or nothing about, only perceived notions that have little meaning...

Now Buzz!!!
Your fibbing again, or pretty close to out and out lying, it is so thinly veiled and easy to see, you are becoming more shallow as time goes on, and I always thought you had more depth than this...Guess not… Prove me wrong, or show me that I'm right..

Elkchsr I have seen way too many extreme right wing conservatives start with the name calling and distorting facts to agree with your one statement. The right side usually starts with the name calling. Sorry but that is how I see it. I am in the middle which is also just as bad as being a liberal to them because I dont have the so-called guts to make a stand on something they believe in. But why make a stand on something that I cant get the straight facts from both sides?
confused.gif

I like it when you stae the stuff that you see and then I see the other side from Buzz. Both of you must see the other side also. So isnt the answer somewhere in the middle? But both sides won't even think about compromise(the lost word in politics).

Nut, of course the answer is in the middle, but the trouble is we aint even close to middle yet on Resource Management issues, including Wildlife Management. I've found you compromise with Industry and you'll take a good screwing, and thats stating it politely.

Oh, and Mike are you still mad about my comment concerning the runt deer you gutshot and turned into swiss cheese at 500 yards? You'll get over it.

Elkchsr, I wouldnt talk much about grade school behavior, I could say some nasty things about your spelling, punctuation, run-on sentences and use of the English language...at times I about need a translator.

Nut, this may have been the way it used to be, If you look at my posts for a year now, you won't find me calling names or carrying on, now if you look at the fact of Buzz's posts, he has very few of late where he doesn't call some one a name...I have no idea what this post from you is all about but all well...

Buzz!!!
Take all the posts on this SI section for the last few days that you and I have been debating on, cut and paste. Take a look at the last comment you made...I have said nothing about your grammar or spelling… Any one can do this on their computer and see just how silly that last statement was. This has nothing to do with the way some one spells or the way their grammar is. Or you would look very silly on that one also… By the way, I don't have the power to change any thing on this site, except in the survival section. So all of the stuff you posted was all you buddy!!!

Fortunately a lot of us on this board don't need a translator to see you for what you really are!!!
rolleyes.gif

Elkchsr....I didnt mean to include you bud
wink.gif

It has been what I have read in alot of political forums on hunting boards. The majority that I have seen have been from the right. Of course the left does it also.
But I have seen it way too much. Heck they even call the fence sitters traitors for not believing in the media personalities like Rush Limbaugh. Now that is true. I was called a traitor because I dont believe every word he says or the other media or the politicians.
I dont trust them as far as I can throw them. I trust what you have seen more.

quote:
And industry doesn't get a good screwing when they compromise with the other side???

Are you trying to tell us that industry has taken a worse screwing than the enviroment in the last 200yrs???
rolleyes.gif
You KNOW that is not true. The past actions of industries putting the health of the resource, particularly on public lands, is now catching up with them. They foresook immediate gain for long term health. I can give you papers from as far back as the '30s stating as such. Why do you think the Taylor Grazing Act was made law? Because the ranchers were taking care of the public domain? Things got so bad in two different places along the Wasatch Front in UT that the local residents bought out the grazing permits and transferred them over to the federal government with the provision that grazing would never be allowed in those areas EVER so as to protect the vital watersheds. That was in the 1940's!! These damn 'environmentalists' aren't a new thing.

While a lot of this is true Tyler!!!
Most of us and industry, have to live in the here and now, the here and now show's us that most all of the "Atrocities" that were done to the environment over the last couple hundred years, or heck for that matter, since man has populated this planet, show that it was done out of ignorance and necessity, yours and my ancestors did it with out a second thought. Same as things you and I do now, that in some time in the future will be looked at in horror by some. Doesn't mean you or I are wrong, just means we didn't know. Most of the things of the past that hurt the environment in the way's you belive to be true, whether they are or not, have been rectified, we have to quit living in the past and see the good that has been done, plus look to the future, but never to forget the past. It is not a place to dwell and live in, this is what turns people sour and hateful, living in a place they can never change, because it is the past!!!
biggrin.gif

quote:
Most of the things of the past that hurt the environment in the way's you belive to be true, whether they are or not

They have and it's been documented in MANY places. By not forgetting the past, I am working to make sure that resources are managed better in the future. It's true, things are better, but for me they are no where near good enough and I doubt they ever will be.
