UPS sucks

USPS is a last resort for delivery here. We get mail on Tuesday and Friday ONLY. Our contract mail carrier, not a USPS employee, likes to smoke weed. Depending on when he starts getting high in relation to sorting the mail is directly related to whether or not you actually get your mail and not someone else's.

I've been spoiled. First name basis with the postmaster in our area of Alaska and our little post office out side LaGrande, Or. if I go to the post office at either town it gets handled. Never had an issue. We have a P.O. Box in town for both. More than once had the postmaster hand deliver something important to the house.
Now have a winter home in Tucson, with luck I'll get my mail before we head north in April.

UPS is useless now, fired all the fulltime drivers and the new techies can't find an address. So they dump the package at the wrong PO and mark it delivered. Have only gotten a few packages right from UPS right in 6 months.
Been paying extra to get USPS to my PO box now.

Fed ex is so bad here in NE Oregon I won't order from people that can't or won't ship UPS or USPS. wife is dealing with a FEDEx claim since January, last year.

They're just as bad on the other side of the river.

FedEx uses part time contract drivers . I'm hoping some of them get picked up in the ICE raids.
