You know, unfortunately, I'll bet this goes through the mind of many male executives when looking at similarly qualified applicants. Should I hire the woman, and take the chance she won't make something up if she turns out not to be a fit, or hire the guy and not have to worry about that? In my case, it was 15 years ago, and I had known all the women for 10-15 years already. And our industry is 80% female.
