yes,makita electrics/even dual battry 36 volt,will only make a few slices on a log of any size before you have to recharge,,and thats with a good,sharp chain.

I have a number of saws but these two pics represent the far sides of the spectrum. If I had to pick my best do all ground saw, if I could only have one, it would be my husky 562xp with 20” bar.

Yes sir! Those old 0** saws were the best. All the new emissions stuff and computer chips really take the juice out of them.

Depends on the trip but usually don’t bring gas saws on hunting trips because of the leaking bar oil. The saw that never leaves the truck is the silky katanaboy 650

I just got the Katanaboy 500 for clearing deadfall on trails, pruning shooting lanes around tree stands, etc. The thing is an absolute beast, a bit smaller than the 650 version, but still a monster of a hand saw.
Admittedly, I knew nothing about these saws until I watched Clay Hayes on the last season of alone cut through timber as if it was butter with one of these beasts. These saws are absolutely amazing!
