I think of all the charges importing hogs is the most offensive.

These cases always piss me off and wildlife crimes alway as seem to fall short in the crime and punishment arena. Glad he was busted you sure don't want hogs getting started there.
One case in Kansas a few years ago really got me when two scum bags from Texas (could have been from anywhere) had a big time poaching/outfitting ring. They basically set up operations and operated when they wanted where they wanted and without tags. I figured the loss in trophy caliber animals equaled about 3/4 million dollars and there total fines were around 70K.
The part that really got me was they played the victim saying they were doing the state a favor by controlling the population and the Fish & Game were out to get them. One of them wore his Marine Corp uniform everyday while in court which was a huge slap in the face to the corp.
They actually had a huge support group from Texas in court everyday and their crimes were so numerous and without regard for wildlife laws it made me sick the support they had.
The real kicker is a circuit court judge overturned the sentences.
