The pits, or after the race is when you exit the car and kick some ass and take pinks.
Like Lopehunter mentions and said it straight about how one steers these cars, the surface, etc, not while the caution is out, not dirt track racing for sure on a dimly lit track, and certainly not in Canada.
People hit construction workers and hit officers of the law on our roads and highways all the time.
