This is why Bozeman is kind of annoying.

Allison was a roommate of mine for a while - a little sweetheart and clearly tough as nails. She’s as kind and humble as any human I’ve met.

I noticed her limping around the house one day and asked her what the problem was. She said she was up all night doing laps on the M and did 21 of them, that’s 17k of vertical took her all night. Here’s a ring camera video of her leaving for a morning run after possibly the heaviest snowfall overnight I’ve seen in 40 years of living in Bozeman. She got home over 4 hours later.
Maybe rename the thread - Some very wonderful people sometimes move to Bozeman.

You say sweetheart, I say psycho. I can tell that she would be totally unfit as a hunting partner because (A) she would walk me into the ground and (B) I have a personal rule of only hunting in grizzly country with someone whom I believe I would have a reasonable chance of outrunning should a grizzly charge us. Someone who does 17K of vertical in one night seems a bit higher up the survivability ladder than myself should a “survival of the fittest” scenario be encountered.

I think this boar has identified as a boar since he started eating elk calves. Been on him for 3 years now.

He does like to run but don’t think he identifies as an ultra athlete, although I’d argue otherwise.

Hopefully this is the year.
