I asked my doctor about it last year , she refused, based on my fatty liver .Congratulations on your bull! Sorry to hear about the shoulder. Hope you can get it fixed up. Next time on an outfitted hunt, let the young pups do the heavy lifting!
As far as the altitude sickness, next time talk to your doctor about some Diamox to start taking before you leave. It can definitely help. I had never taken it before a mountain hunt, but decided to do it this year because I was hunting at 10,000 to 11,000 ft. I took it, plus stayed hydrated and had no problems.
I’m home , Dr appt Tuesday , but it’s jacked up pretty good .Congrats on a beautiful bull! I've spent a few years hunting the public land around the Cortez area and we love that part of Colorado. I'm dealing with a torn rotator cuff right now as well, so I feel your pain. Hope yours feels better soon!
