Reminds me of back in the day, when we had a senator named Bob Packwood. He came to town to campaign for reelection. One of the big issues he was running on was term limits for senators. The other day I had a ad on my phone that you can pay for to stop having ads on your phone !
So…what did you do that the FBI was bugging your phone?Paty lines were fun when I was a kid and got a little bored. Didn't have algorithms listening in but when I was 15 the FBI bugged our phone. I had a 16-year-old and 13-year-old sisters at the time, so whoever got the job of listening in must have gone bat shit crazy before that assignment was over.
Reminds me of the signs that say "FOR SALE BY OWNER". Who else would be selling it- Your neighbor??The other day I had a ad on my phone that you can pay for to stop having ads on your phone !
Nothin, But the CIA asked them to bug our phone. So, they did. So…what did you do that the FBI was bugging your phone?
It is a funny story in my family about the time the FBI came to visit my grandmother to interview her for my background check. This was for a tech rep clearance in the 1990's. It was quite a while before she stopped looking at me sideways. It actually wasn't a big deal. The CIA was recruiting my oldest sister for a position with the agency, so they were doing a very thorough and invasive background check on her and anyone connected to her.
She worked for the CIA for about a decade before she decided that the spy game wasn't as glamorous and romantic, and the danger was far more real than what she envisioned as a teenager.
