You guys don't know sucks until you have done one of the following....1) used the cheap vinyl waders they used to sell in little plastic bags next to cheap rain jackets. We wore a pair of Carhartt overalls over them and cheap rubber boots to protect them. It never failed, one of us would punch a tiny hole in the parking lot and spend the day with water up to one knee. Then on the way out, the other would punch a hole somewhere and get soaked on the way out. They were 5 bucks a pair so you just bought a new pair for the next trip. Then we upgraded to 2) canvas waders. No more leaks but they weighed a ton and it was like trying to walk in a full body cast. You were worn out by the time you got back to the truck. You also froze while hunting. After those two, neoprene was a dream come true. You were warm, you could move, and rarely had holes. I often wore them when field hunting just for the warmth.
